Essex Resident Survey 2024 Dashboard & Reports
Essex Resident Survey 2024
The Essex Resident Survey is Essex County Council’s largest survey exercise, aiming to generate insights into residents’ aspirations, views, and values. This helps shape strategy, inform key delivery programs, and enhance our engagement with residents. With over 5,500 residents responding to the 2024 survey, we can better understand the diversity of views and experiences across various geographies and cohorts within the county.
The survey was delivered in partnership with Opinion Research Services (ORS) and conducted in line with Market Research Society standards.

Dashboard
The embedded dashboard enables users to customise data for personalised insights. Use the 'Contents' button to navigate easily around the six different question sections. Use the 'X' to minimise the contents menu within the dashboard.
The dashboard uses weighted counts and percentages, so please take care when observing percentages and base sizes.
For the first time, we have included previous data results within the dashboard. Users can now compare 2023 data with 2024 data if the question was asked in both years.
