Essex Bus Network Data – in line with Department for Transport’s Open Data ambitions, Essex County Council has made source Public Transport data available for public, for personal, educational or commercial use.
Our network data is collated into an Essex dataset and uploaded weekly. This contains all publicly accessible local bus services that operator both solely and partially within the administrative boundary of Essex. This is available in ATCO.CIF and TransXChange industry formats. See below files.
Please note - (1) the information provided might not reflect very short notice changes, or short-term special arrangements (for example times may vary at Christmas and Easter). (2) The information contained within these files also does not constitute an agreement with local bus operators regarding contracted arrangements; operators should refer to the contract agreed with Essex County Council.
