The Socioeconomic Factors - Employment dashboard is an interactive tool that presents information and intelligence to allow our stakeholders to understand the need in their local area and inequalities as they pertain to employment across Essex. To make the most of this dashboard, it is important that it is used in conjunction with the accompanying downloadable report so that the combined information and intelligence supports the provision of services to improve Essex resident’s health and wellbeing and to reduce health inequalities.

• April 2025 Update: New filters ("Quarters") added to the Economically Active (%) & Unemployment rate pages. These filters enable you to view time-series data for all years ending in Q1, Q2, Q3 or Q4 offering more flexibility and precision in your analysis.
