Under the new Domestic Abuse Act, ECC has responsibilities for delivering a range of statutory duties, including ensuring representation of the voice of victims on the Domestic Abuse Partnership Board.

As well as meeting this statutory duty, ECC is committed to engaging with domestic abuse survivors as ‘experts by experience’. This includes providing opportunities for sharing views and ideas, and working alongside us as collaborative partners.

It is important that our approach to engagement and co-production is informed by the people themselves. Therefore a programme of research has been undertaken to gather insight around best practice, as well as exploring the views, needs and preferences of a diverse range of cohorts.

Please read the research report below to see the findings from this work.

ECC would like to continue engaging with a diverse group of professionals through quarterly events focused on 'moving forward together'.
